On 15 May 2025, a working meeting was held at the OSJD Committee in Warsaw with the delegation of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Poland headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary HE Sun Linjiang. From the OSJD Committee side the meeting was attended by Chairman Mirosław Antonowicz, Deputy Chairmen Sui Ruizheng and Mikhail Vsevolozhskiy, as well as other employees, and from the side of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China the meeting was also attended by Counselor Tian Zhong, Head of the Political Department Mr Bao Mengyan and Second-rank Secretary Duan Dejun.

The OSJD Committee Chairman briefly informed the Chinese delegation about the OSJD activities, the outcomes of meeting XXXIX of the Conference of General Directors (Authorised Representatives) of OSJD Railways held on 14-17 April, as well as the preparations for session LII of the OSJD Ministerial Conference, noting the historical and ever-increasing role of China in the Organisation and the active participation of Chinese specialists and experts in the activities of the working bodies.

The parties discussed the issues related to the organisation of session LII of the Ministerial Conference in Qingdao, and also exchanged their views on some issues on the agenda.

The delegation of the PRC Embassy presented information on the projects that are being carried out in the field of high-speed traffic development and the introduction of innovative technologies on the Chinese Railways.

The parties expressed their mutual desire and readiness to continue the dialogue and implement joint initiatives in order to develop cooperation within the OSJD framework.
