Third International Cargo Conference in Minsk

On April 10, the Byelorussian Railway will host the 3rd International Cargo Conference "2025. Railway logistics: current development challenges". Its slogan is "Joining forces for common success." For the third time, representatives of the railways of the countries of the Eurasian continent gathered in Minsk to discuss a wide list of issues related to the transportation of goods by rail and to work out the most optimal solutions for further work, taking into account the interests of all participants in the logistics process. The geography of the conference participants is expanding every year. This year, the event is attended by heads and representatives of the railways of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, as well as international transport organizations such as the OSJD Committee, the CSZT, the CCTT, representatives of transport and logistics companies and owners of rolling stock.

During the conference, the most pressing issues of the formation of railway logistics and competitive logistics solutions in modern conditions, including those involving ports, as well as prospects for the development and modernization of transport logistics infrastructure and corridors will be discussed.

Much attention will be paid to the transport and transit potential of railways involved in the organization of cargo transportation along the international North–South and East–West transport corridors, as well as within the framework of the One Belt, One Road initiative. The conference program includes bilateral meetings in the B2B format, as well as an exchange of views and relevant proposals in the field of transport and logistics, such as taking more client-oriented measures and increasing efficiency of interaction with cargo owners, as well as expanding accessibility and transparency of the railway business.
