From 10 till 13 December 2024, the OSJD Committee held a joint meeting of Plenipotentiary Representatives, which was attended by the Plenipotentiary Representatives of the OSJD Ministerial Conference and/or Plenipotentiary Representatives of the OSJD Conference of General Directors (Authorised Representatives) of OSJD Railways from the following countries: Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Bulgaria, Hungary, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Georgia, Republic of Kazakhstan, People’s Republic of China, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Republic of Korea, Kyrgyz Republic, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Republic of Latvia, Republic of Lithuania, Mongolia, Republic of Poland, Russian Federation, Romania, Slovak Republic, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Republic of Estonia.

The meeting was also attended by the representatives of the OSJD affiliated enterprises – South-Caucasus Railway CJSC, SIGIS LLC, Gargždų geležinkelis CJSC, Russian University of Transport (RUT (MIIT)), “Far Eastern Shipping Company” PJSC (FESCO PJSC), “Russian Post” JSC, “United Transport and Logistics Company – Eurasian Railway Alliance” JSC (UTLC ERA JSC), TransContainer PJSC, Eurosib SPb-TS JSC, PLASKE JSC; invited International Coordinating Council for Trans-Eurasian Transportation (CCTT), as well as members and employees of the OSJD Committee.

Opening the meeting, OSJD Committee Chairman Mirosław Antonowicz wished everyone fruitful work and noted the presence of all delegations in person. He also noted the importance of continuing contacts in person/ face-to-face to make relevant decisions on planning the Organisation’s further activities for the next period.

The meeting reviewed and discussed the materials developed by the OSJD working bodies and the Committee. As part of the agenda, the work plans of the OSJD working bodies for 2025 and the Calendar of OSJD Events for 2025 were reviewed and approved.

The meeting participants addressed the OSJD Committee with a request to inform the members of the Conference of General Directors (Authorised Representatives) of OSJD Railways about the venue of CGD meeting XXXIX by 31 December 2024.

The delegation of the People’s Republic of China reported that session LII of the OSJD Ministerial Conference will be held on June 10-13, 2025 in Qingdao. In this regard, it invited all OSJD members to take part in this event.

The OSJD Committee Chairman thanked for the invitation and expressed confidence that the session will be organised and held at the highest level.
