In 2023, the OSJD Commission on Transport Policy and Development Strategy continued its work on the formation of a uniform railway transport policy of the OSJD member countries with regard to the implementation of comprehensive measures aimed at the improvement of traffic and development of the OSJD transport corridors, facilitation of border crossing in international passenger and freight railway traffic, as well as at increasing the competitiveness of railways in order to attract additional volumes of international traffic and to increase the share of railway traffic in the transport market.
