The PESA Company and the EAD public transport operator in the capital of Bulgaria have signed a contract for the supply of additional 25 Swing tram cars. Under the three previous contracts, the Polish company delivered 37 such tram cars to Sofia. Five-section carriages 30 m long with a total carrying capacity of about 200 people, including 41 seats, will be equipped with air conditioning systems and adapted for people with reduced mobility and visually impaired passengers.

In total, the PESA Company has manufactured more than 800 tram cars, which, in addition to the cities of Poland, carry passengers in Kiev, Moscow, Romanian Cluj and Iasi, as well as in Szeged, Hungary. Currently, the PESA Company is implementing contracts for the supply of tram cars to Slovakia and Romania, qualification stages of tenders in Hannover and Tallinn are completed (photo: PESA).
