On June 2-5, 2015 the XLIII-rd Session of the OSJD Ministerial Conference (MC) was held in Ulan-Bator, the capital of Mongolia. The event was attended by the delegations from the following OSJD participanting countries: Azerbaijani Republic, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Bulgaria, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Georgia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of Kazakhstan, People's Republic of China, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Republic of Latvia, Republic of Lithuania, Republic of Moldova, Mongolia, Republic of Poland, Russian Federation, Republic of Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Czech Republic and Republic of Estonia. The session was also attended by the officials of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea and representatives of international organisations including the Directorate General for Mobility and Transport of the European Commission (DG MOVE), CIT and the OSJD Committee.

The OSJD Railway Summit and 10th OSJD International Rail Freight Conference of high level were held from 27 to 29 May 2015 in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The organiser of the Conference was the National Railway Company of the Republic of Korea - Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL), an OSJD affiliated enterprise.

Plasser & Theurer (OSJD affiliated enterprise, Austria) has supplied two USP 2010 SWS-U universal ballast distribution and profiling machines to the Polish infrastructure manager PKP PLK.

The presentation of a Train Control Centre was held on 7 April 2015 at JSC Georgian Railway. Mamuka Bakhtadze, General Director of JSC Georgian Railway and Aleksi Nikolaishvili, Director of the Freight Transport Branch cut the ribbon in a celebratory atmosphere and congratulated the staff of the Centre on the start of the work in a renewed environment.
